– a multidisciplinary breast cancer symposium targeting breast surgeons, radiologists and pathologists.

Drammensmøtet 2027 is a national multidiciplinary breast cancer symposium bringing together breast surgeons, radiologists and pathologists to share the latest research, exchange experiences and discuss developments in breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Organized by Vestre Viken, in collaboration with the National Network for Breast Cancer Research and the Breast Screen Norway, the symposion provides a important national meeting place for professionals working across different diciplines in breast cancer care.

  • AI in Breast Cancer Screening and Pathology

The event will take place in Plenumssalen at Drammen Hospital.

To find Plenumssalen, enter the hospital through the main entrance and take the stairs to the floor above. The auditorium is located directly in front of you at the top of the stairs.

Parking
Designated visitor parking areas are available with automatic license plate recognition and payment. We recommend using public transport where possible.

From the airport
The Airport Express Train (Flytoget) runs from Oslo Airport (OSL) to Drammen city center or switch train to R13 at Oslo Central Station. The R13 train stops at Brakerøya station, just outside Drammen Hospital and Thon Hotell Drammen. 

If you take Flytoget to Drammen Station, you can reach the hospital by taxi, train (every 30 min), bus from Bragernes Torg (across the bridge from the train station) or on foot (30 min walk). Buses depart from Bragernes Torg every 10 minutes.

From Oslo city center
The easiest way to reach the conference from Oslo is to take the R13 train to Brakerøya Station, located next to the hospital. The train departs every 30 minutes.

Alternatively, you can take other trains to Drammen Station and continue to the hospital by taxi, by bus from Bragernes Torg (departing every 10 minutes), or on foot (approximately a 30-minute walk).

On arrival
Registration will take place in the hospital entrance.

 

Accomodation
Accomodation is available at Thon Hotell Drammen, next to Brakerøya Train Station and Drammen Hospital. Participants who wish to stay overnight can book accomodation as part of the conference registration.

Conference dinner
The conference dinner will be held at Thon Hotell Drammen on Thursday 11. February.  

Participants are invited to submit abstracts presenting research projects or quality improvement prosjects.

Selected abstracts will be invited for a 10-minute oral presentation at the symposium, offering an opportunity to share findings, experiences and ongoing work with colleagues across diciplines. 

If you wish to submitt an abstract, please indicate this when completing your symposium registration.
